Finance & Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage the complete monthly closing process.

• Ensure accurate financial documentation within QuickBooks Online.

• Reconcile bank accounts, stablecoin wallets, and balances from crypto exchanges.

• Record journal entries related to operational activities, payroll, accruals, and prepaid expenses.

• Maintain subledgers for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense categories.

• Implement and oversee crypto accounting tools, such as Gilded, Cryptio, and Integral.

• Monitor token transfers, staking revenue, liquidity provider positions, and cost basis.

• Ensure reconciliation between on-chain transactions and the general ledger.

• Assist in preparing for tax submissions and financial audits concerning digital assets.

• Manage vendor invoicing, payment scheduling, and reimbursements for expenses.

• Utilize tools like Gusto for payroll, Ramp/Brex for corporate spending, and Notion for financial tracking.

• Aid in cash flow monitoring and the internal reporting process.

• Collaborate with external tax, audit, and legal partners to maintain compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–8 years of pertinent experience in accounting, finance, or operations.

• Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Crypto Subledgers, and Excel/Google Sheets.

• Experience with crypto accounting, digital assets, or finance related to blockchain is preferred.

• Understanding of GAAP and accounting principles (CPA designation is a plus but not mandatory).

• Highly organized, self-motivated, and adept at working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
