Finance Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist our national accounting team in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in alignment with HGB (German GAAP) and IFRS.

• Collaborate closely with our national teams, providing support for accounting-related inquiries.

• Play a role in the ongoing enhancement of our finance processes, emphasizing efficiency, quality, and automation.

• Prepare and evaluate financial data, aiding in the creation of significant financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Assist with internal and external audits, which includes preparing necessary documentation and facilitating communication with auditors.

• Acquire exposure to areas such as group consolidation and intercompany reconciliations while continuously enhancing your technical proficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree or a comparable commercial qualification with a specialization in business, finance, or accounting.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in the preparation of financial statements under HGB.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and proficient use of financial systems (e.g., DATEV or SAP).

• An analytical mindset coupled with a structured, meticulous, and independent approach to work.

• A team-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a passion for collaboration across various departments.

• Excellent proficiency in German and good command of English, both spoken and written.
