Film Director, Showrunner – AI-Tech Approach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Showrunning & Vision: Direct the narrative strategy and uphold a consistent 'look and feel' throughout a complete short drama series.

• Directorial Leadership: Utilize your expertise in lighting, composition, and performance to ensure AI outputs reflect the quality of premium television.

• Creative Asset Management: Leverage AI-assisted tools to create storyboards, shot lists, and backplates that align with your directorial vision.

• Technical Execution: Take personal responsibility for the final 'director’s cut.' While support will be available, you should be adept at hands-on generation, assembly, and refinement.

• VFX & Polish: Supervise (and execute) the cleanup of AI artifacts to guarantee visual consistency and deliver a seamless cinematic experience.

• Ethical Oversight: Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and respects intellectual property standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional Directing Background: Demonstrated experience as a Film Director or Showrunner with a portfolio showcasing a profound understanding of 'the language of film.'

• Cinematic Mastery: Expert comprehension of film theory, pacing, and the ability to evoke human emotion through the lens.

• Tech-Savvy Mindset: A basic, functional understanding of AI tools (like Midjourney, Runway, or Luma) along with a strong desire to learn more.

• NLE Proficiency: Advanced skills in industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Avid.

• Post-Production Knowledge: High-level expertise in After Effects or similar tools for masking, compositing, and 'fixing it in post.'

• Adaptability: The capability to devise creative solutions for the current limitations of AI technology.

• Bonus Skills: Experience with AI audio/music tools (e.g., ElevenLabs, Udio, Suno). A 'hacker' mentality—someone who enjoys testing new tools as soon as they are released.
