Filler/Seamer Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct performance maintenance and setup operations on all JBT Marel products.

• Configure and fine-tune machines in the field according to equipment specifications.

• Install, commission, and set up JBT Marel filler/seamer products at customer locations.

• Troubleshoot issues, dismantle machinery, replace faulty components, and reassemble machines.

• Execute machine audits, repairs, and scheduled preventative maintenance.

• Carry out an inventory of new equipment before commencing installation.

• Offer training to customers and colleagues when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-6 years of mechanical, electrical, or controls experience OR experience in field service.

• Completion of a two-year technical program or equivalent field experience is preferred.

• Proficient in basic computer skills, including the use of iPads, smartphones, email, Word, Excel, etc.

• Preferred experience with seamers, blenders, fillers, and capping equipment.

• Manufacturing experience within the food and beverage sector is preferred.
