This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Shaping CrowdStrike’s long-term strategic vision and product roadmap in the realm of security, while facilitating the introduction of new security technology concepts to the market, positioning CrowdStrike as the foremost thought leader in Cybersecurity among customers, partners, and notably industry analysts.
• Driving and conveying CrowdStrike’s technology strategy to customers, partners, investors, as well as at media and industry events.
• Collaborating with governments and regulators on cybersecurity, technical policy, and innovation efforts.
• Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of the cybersecurity industry, competitive landscape, and related developments to ensure we remain innovative thought leaders ahead of the market.
• Utilizing stakeholder feedback to guide necessary enhancements and adjustments to technology.
• Concentrating on technological advancements that will benefit your region.
• Identifying new technologies that provide competitive advantages, either as part of the core platform or through technology partnerships.
• Offering recommendations for ongoing improvement.
• Proven experience in formulating security strategies for organizations and/or governments, along with overseeing their successful implementation and execution.
• Demonstrated experience in constructing and implementing corporate security strategies, with the capability to distinguish CrowdStrike’s products and services.
• Extensive information security expertise across strategy, governance, technology, and policy domains.
• Profound knowledge of security issues and trends, with the ability to communicate a high-level security strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Possess or be willing to gain an in-depth understanding of CrowdStrike’s security architecture, along with the ability to articulate CrowdStrike’s value proposition in security.
• Capability to develop and nurture relationships with senior leaders within customer organizations and at CrowdStrike, up to and including C-level executives.
• Experience working in a global context, being geo-politically aware and sensitive to varying government attitudes towards technology organizations.
• A proven track record of speaking at industry conferences, and contributing to published blogs, podcasts, white papers, and books.
• Experience or willingness to assist with public relations and conduct media interviews across various mediums on security topics and current affairs, including crisis situations.
• Background in roles similar to Regional CTO, Enterprise Technology Strategist, Strategic Consultant, or Enterprise Security Architect.
• Hands-on experience in detailed research and analysis.
• Familiarity with or exposure to the cybersecurity domain, particularly the threat landscape posed by nation-state and criminal actors, along with their diverse exploitation methodologies.
• Experience with or exposure to Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, SIEM/Log Management, Mobile Security, Identity Security, Incident Response, as well as other cybersecurity areas.
• Willingness to travel regionally, with some international travel anticipated.
