Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Diagnose network performance concerns, assist in resolving outages, and pinpoint areas for operational enhancement.

• Implement and support crucial projects, ensuring precise tracking, reporting, and communication.

• Suggest process enhancements and aid in the creation of documentation, job aids, and procedures.

• Remain updated on advancing technologies, systems, and company protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field.

• 2–4 years of experience in field operations, maintenance, or similar technical positions.

• 2–4 years of experience in wireless telecommunications or a related industry.

• Fundamental understanding of electronics and telecommunications systems (RF, fiber, microwave, power systems).

• Experience with Nokia and/or Ericsson RAN equipment is preferred.

• Strong skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving.

• Keen attention to detail and capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.

• Ability to lift 50–70 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company-assigned vehicle.
