This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Deliver technical assistance to address network performance challenges and aid in resolving outages.
• Oversee smaller projects or segments of larger projects, providing precise status and progress reports.
• Recognize and suggest enhancements related to maintenance and repair processes.
• Collaborate with senior technicians in creating job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation.
• Engage in necessary training to keep up-to-date with systems, products, and organizational standards.
• Continuously enhance skills through training, certifications, and hands-on experience.
• Support network operations in the Denver area while helping to sustain and enhance network performance and reliability.
• Execute additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
• Travel extensively across various sites, including day and night shifts, weekends, holidays, and being part of an on-call rotation.
• Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and experience considered equivalent (Required).
• Preferred fields of study include Vocational/Technical Training or a related area.
• 2–4 years of experience in Field Operations and maintenance.
• 2–4 years of experience in wireless telecommunications or a related field.
• Familiarity with electronics and interconnecting circuits, such as RF transmitters, antenna systems, AAV, fiber, microwave radio, AC-DC power systems, and AI.
• Practical understanding of Radio Access Network (RAN) architecture, components, and operations.
• Knowledge of wireless backhaul technologies and configurations, including microwave and fiber-based solutions.
• Experience with or willingness to learn 5G New Radio (NR) standards and RAN equipment.
• Proficient in base station equipment, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Awareness of disaster recovery protocols and contingency planning.
• Ability to troubleshoot network issues across both hardware and software systems.
• Project management capabilities for planning and executing field assignments.
• Capacity to provide hands-on technical support to internal teams and partners.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and similar productivity tools.
• Understanding of Internet Protocol and willingness to utilize AI-driven tools.
• Ability to operate fiber test, line, and antenna test equipment (Preferred).
• Must be available for flexible hours, including day and night shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation.
• Capability to lift 50–70 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company-assigned vehicle.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Travel is required.
