Field Service/Installation Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver maintenance and repair services in the field.

• Educate staff on the proper use of equipment.

• Guide customers on operating equipment effectively.

• Offer hands-on assistance and solutions to customers beyond standard repairs and maintenance.

• Travel frequently to various customer locations on a daily basis.

• Occasionally utilize power tools as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in computer applications, including familiarity with Windows-based programs.

• Strong organizational capabilities.

• Effective problem-solving abilities.

• Outstanding communication skills.

• Relevant mechanical or technical experience/education, or applicable background in electrical, customer service, military, software/hardware, pneumatics, or HVAC.

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (mandatory).

• Capable of performing routine activities such as walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, reaching, and twisting.

• Must frequently lift, lower, carry, push, or pull weights ranging from 1 to 55 pounds and occasionally handle 56 to 100 pounds.

• Regularly engage in pushing, pulling, grasping, and demonstrate manual dexterity with hands, arms, and shoulders.

• Able to work in confined spaces.

• Frequent daily travel to customer locations required.

• Technical training in the biomedical or electronics field is preferred.

• Occasional use of power tools required.
