
Field Service Technician – Windows and Doors

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics, repairs, and installations for windows and doors.
• Exhibit proficiency in various window styles (single-hung, double-hung, casement, sliding) and door systems.
• Work with multiple window and door materials, including wood, vinyl, aluminum, and diverse glass types.
• Utilize a variety of tools such as drills, sealants, pry bars, caulk guns, and power tools.
• Perform diagnostics and offer technical assistance through phone and email.
• Carry out water tests in accordance with company protocols and document the findings.
• Organize and coordinate projects that involve two or more technicians.
• Professionally resolve warranty or service issues.
• Execute specialized repairs, including those related to water intrusion.
• Foster strong relationships with customers and sales teams.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• AAMA Installation Training certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license with the ability to successfully pass an MVR check.
• 3–5 years of experience in general construction or building material installation is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in fenestration manufacturing or installation is preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Strong understanding of installation practices for windows and doors.
