Field Service Technician – Industrial Bandsaws

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Address end-user inquiries through troubleshooting minor repairs, alignment, and calibration of equipment.

• Collaborate with Territory Account Manager(s) to oversee your territory, pinpoint target opportunities, and manage service/maintenance requests for current clients.

• Use SFDC to gather and maintain information about products, machines, materials, end users, and distribution for both Lenox and competing accounts.

• Stay informed on industry developments by participating in trade shows and seminars, as well as exploring innovative technology.

• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot distributor welding equipment.

• Inspire distributors and ensure distributor sales personnel emphasize technical services as a valuable addition when selling.

• Identify end-user applications to offer cost-effective product recommendations that enhance customer quality in sawing operations.

• Coordinate and implement technical product and application solutions that provide additional value to customers, consumers, and sales representatives.

• Learn, comprehend, and apply all elements of The Lenox Advantage, Site Survey Process, and reporting tool.

• Persuade customers of the advantages of LENOX products by conducting product trials against competitors and showcasing the benefits of evaluating price versus cost.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair and/or hands-on experience in a production shop environment or equivalent.

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Familiarity with hydraulic, electric, pneumatic, and mechanical systems is desirable.

• Technical and mechanical skills to operate tools and machinery.

• Sales experience in industrial sales is advantageous.
