This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Install, configure, maintain, inspect, calibrate, and troubleshoot fuel handling/outage critical crane equipment at customer locations globally.
• Thoroughly review operational procedures, maintenance protocols, and schematics.
• Support engineering and training efforts by engaging in activities such as equipment modifications, setup and testing, mock-up preparation, process testing, and qualifications for equipment and processes.
• Precisely document equipment performance issues during field implementations, ensuring corrective actions are completed before the next scheduled use.
• Engage in training programs to acquire and maintain certifications, while staying updated with technology and procedures.
• Execute all assigned tasks under general supervision, maintaining a high quality of work within the framework of established procedures and guidelines.
• Uphold a keen attention to detail and document all quality-related issues.
• Adopt a "Safety First" mindset as a fundamental aspect of all activities.
• Exhibit good housekeeping practices in work areas.
• Retain "Unescorted Access" status at nuclear power plant sites.
• Foster, exercise, and promote team-building skills with peers, supervisors, contractors, customers, and other departments.
• Show strong customer sensitivity and excellent customer service skills.
• Focus on innovative problem-solving techniques.
• Report daily or as necessary to the service supervisor regarding the status of field work progress, changes, issues, and/or mistakes.
• High school diploma or recognized equivalent, plus a 2-year post-secondary degree/certificate or equivalent experience.
• Specific training and knowledge in electrical, electronic, PLC, or mechanical components.
• 2-5 years of related experience demonstrating mechanical, electrical, and PLC aptitude and skills.
• Experience in the nuclear industry is advantageous.
• This position is subject to Westinghouse and customer security requirements, unescorted access, and fitness for duty programs.
• Ability to occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds is required.
• Must possess a full range of motion, including the ability to reach, climb, kneel, squat, grasp, bend forwards and backwards, sit, and stand for a minimum of 4 hours per day.
• Must be able to pass a Westinghouse physical, which includes a spirometer to assess the ability to wear a respirator.
