Field Service Technician, East – Southeast

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Installation, commissioning, maintenance, optimization, and repair of sensor-based sorting systems at TOMRA Recycling facilities.

• Ensuring the highest performance of TOMRA sorting technologies in operational settings.

• Providing outstanding customer experiences through effective communication and support.

• Enhancing sorting systems/processes by conducting sampling and testing.

• Recognizing opportunities to add value to customers' operations through the introduction of complementary TOMRA products, solutions, and services.

• Serving as a liaison between customers and Headquarters by gathering and delivering market feedback to continually seek new opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed secondary technical education (FP2) or higher, with a focus on electrician/electronics, automation, industrial maintenance, or a related field.

• Residing within approximately 150 km of Alicante's main airport.

• Willing to travel 85% of the time from the second year onwards within the working area and across Spain, with occasional trips to Portugal, and maintaining a flexible schedule.

• Prepared to travel 100% of the time during the first year for training purposes.

• Prior experience in an industrial setting, emphasizing on-site preventive and corrective maintenance is a significant advantage.

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.

• Competency in computer applications, PC configuration, and network structures.

• Exceptional communication skills when interacting with others.

• Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English.

• A full, clean driving license is required.

• Familiarity with recycling processes is a plus.
