Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Diagnose, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, covering both mechanical and electrical aspects.

• Carry out thorough inspections and tests on customer equipment in accordance with preventive maintenance protocols.

• Maintain availability and accessibility via phone and tablet during work hours to ensure outstanding customer service.

• Use the company’s technology platform to log all work conducted on equipment, including labor and parts utilized.

• Accurately track, report, and manage parts inventory.

• Complete and systematically organize tech stock replenishment within the company vehicle.

• Communicate proactively with business partners and leadership regarding customer requirements, parts, and equipment servicing to deliver exceptional customer service.

• Effectively interact with customers about the services requested and provided.

• Undertake additional responsibilities and duties as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

• Must possess a valid Driver's License for the state of employment.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and conducting preventive maintenance on industrial and commercial equipment.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical schematics.

• A diverse skill set in equipment maintenance and repair.

• Ability to comply with OSHA regulations, including but not limited to fall protection and lock-out tag-out procedures.

• Candidate must be willing to obtain EPA 608 certification and perform refrigerant removal for recycling.

• Must live within 15-20 miles of the designated target city.

• Proven ability to collaborate and work efficiently with cross-functional teams.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be a self-starter with the capability to work independently while driving customer satisfaction and showing a passion for equipment maintenance.

• Ability to consistently and accurately document work performed.
