This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver troubleshooting and repair services for waterjet equipment.
• Address customer inquiries in person, by phone, and through email communication.
• Provide thorough training on the safety, operation, and maintenance of waterjet equipment.
• Document all activities related to customer inquiries or field service effectively.
• Contribute to the development of new products and emerging technologies.
• Serve as an effective liaison with Engineering and Sales departments concerning customer feedback and new product initiatives.
• Handle requests for the replacement of defective components in line with KMT warranty policies.
• Support fellow service technicians in their territories with service tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Office responsibilities include accurate record-keeping, basic computer proficiency, and strong organizational skills.
• A minimum of two years of technical or associate degree education, or a combination of education and experience.
• A preferred B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a blend of education and experience.
• Required strong mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic skills.
• General diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities are essential.
• Capability to exercise independent judgment to analyze and resolve technical challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• Competent keyboarding skills are necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and the ability to manage and resolve stressful situations professionally.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• A positive attitude, initiative, and dependability are crucial.
• Demonstrated capability for innovative and creative thinking.
• Strong organizational skills are required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is essential.
• Capacity to quickly learn about the company’s products and parts.
• Willingness to travel 70% or more for on-site assignments.
