Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.

📋 Description

• Efficiently execute customer installations, maintenance, and service calls.

• Service electromechanical devices, such as self-checkout systems, within a designated territory.

• Conduct maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance work, and system overhauls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a local candidate within a specific geographic area.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Minimum age of 18 years required.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets NCR fleet requirements.

• Proficient in PC skills, basic electronic knowledge, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems.

• Capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Willingness to travel extensively, including driving several hours daily.

• Availability for rotating and weekend shifts.

• Flexibility for shift work – rotating shifts within established teams, covering morning, afternoon, and evening start times, including some holidays.

• Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. unassisted, and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.

• Competence in bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, using hands, and repetitively grasping and manipulating objects of various sizes.

• Willingness to receive training on and operate small-scale scissor lifts in retail settings to service or replace networking equipment such as access points or switches.
