This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Conduct field calibration, troubleshooting, and repair services on all Anderson Negele products at customer sites.
• Profitably manage an assigned territory, identifying and securing sales opportunities to support ambitious growth targets.
• Foster customer loyalty and enhance business relationships within the territory.
• Precisely document and report all service activities conducted, including billing and expense reports.
• Ensure that the company service truck and equipment are maintained in full compliance with relevant state and federal regulations.
• Adhere to all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations concerning the operation, maintenance, and inspection of a company service vehicle.
• Safely transport, reverse, maneuver, and service equipment trailers across various customer, industrial, and field settings.
• Advocate for and uphold a safe working environment for yourself and those around you.
• High school diploma is mandatory; an associate degree or two-year technical degree in Electronics Technology or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills are essential.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Previous field-based experience in a travel-intensive role is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel) with the capability to learn additional systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics.
• Proven capability to work independently with strong problem-solving abilities, a sense of urgency, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Must meet all DOT requirements, including those regarding the operation and inspection of company vehicles.
• Demonstrated ability to safely tow, reverse, maneuver, and service trailers in customer and field environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel 100% of the time throughout the Western region, including frequent overnight travel, with occasional trips to other regions in the U.S. as business demands arise.
• The associate must be capable of frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 80 pounds.
