Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair Waterjet, CNC Laser, and Press Brake systems.

• Offer both on-site and remote technical support to guarantee optimal machine performance.

• Educate customers on machine operation, preventive maintenance, and safety protocols.

• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and software challenges.

• Complete comprehensive service documentation and reports.

• Keep technical documentation current and assist with parts identification.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

• Take part in on-call rotation for after-hours and holiday support.

• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, electrical, and electronic systems.

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues using sound judgment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Concur, and Kronos.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical matters clearly.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, maintaining composure and professionalism under pressure.

• Strong initiative, a positive mindset, and a reliable work ethic.

• Capability to organize work, manage time efficiently, and work independently.

• High school diploma is required; an AA degree in Electronics, Robotics, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience with Waterjet, CNC Laser, or Press Brake.

• Practical experience with industrial machinery installation or field service.

• Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting.

• Valid driver’s license and passport are required.

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends.
