This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Identifies, evaluates, and executes necessary service orders, including repairs, scheduled maintenance, and installations within the designated service area.
• Comprehends company service contracts and ensures that maintenance and services are conducted in accordance with those agreements when applicable.
• Adheres to all relevant technical protocols as mandated by QSR requirements.
• Offers consistent ongoing support to key clients through technical phone assistance, product installation, and field service support.
• Provides product feedback regarding any issues or trends observed in the field and aids in the development of solutions.
• Reports any identified deviations from established product quality standards and specifications to the appropriate internal team members.
• Notifies the Supervisor, Field Service of any delays in delivering scheduled services for necessary escalation.
• Ensures that all required paperwork, emails, vendor credentialing, expense reports, and training documentation are accurate and current; additionally, maintains tools, supplies, parts, etc. in good condition and fully stocked.
• Reports all complaints encountered in the field in accordance with quality system requirements.
• Participates in product-specific training as needed.
• Encourages the acquisition of service agreements by informing customers about the various services available.
• A technical degree or higher in electronics or a related field is required.
• At least 5+ years of technical experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required.
• Experience must be in the medical device or other related healthcare sectors (e.g., hospital biomedical engineer).
• Significant experience in field service work is required.
• Must demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with excellent facilitation abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and the capability to convey complex information effectively are essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to facilitate problem resolution.
• Must have a valid driver's license in good standing with a satisfactory driving record.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines are required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary.
• Must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills is required, with a strong preference for candidates who are highly proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Proficiency in service-related or inventory control software is required.
