This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Assess and analyze medical equipment to determine service needs, diagnose operational problems, and establish suitable repair and maintenance strategies.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and safety evaluations on surgical microscopes and associated equipment in line with OEM and company standards.
• Quickly respond to numerous weekly service requests, prioritizing urgent repair requirements and providing swift, effective solutions to ensure seamless clinical operations.
• Collaborate closely with hospitals, clinics, and surgical teams to guarantee that their equipment functions safely and reliably.
• Establish and maintain trustworthy relationships with healthcare professionals through exceptional service, professionalism, and responsiveness.
• Propel new business growth and account expansion within the designated territory, recognizing opportunities for service agreements, refurbishments, and equipment sales.
• Travel to customer locations to carry out hands-on service tasks, attend service meetings, and discover opportunities for ongoing maintenance or refurbishment support.
• Ensure that all service operations adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Represent Prescott’s at industry conferences and trade shows, showcasing our service capabilities, engaging with potential clients, and enhancing brand visibility.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• 1-3 years of experience in field service, biomedical engineering, or technical sales is preferred.
• Strong technical skills with the capacity to diagnose, repair, and maintain intricate medical or industrial equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships and influence purchasing choices in a professional environment.
• Capability to effectively balance hands-on technical service tasks with customer-facing sales and commercial duties.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting service manuals, schematics, and technical documents.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities with a professional, solution-focused mindset.
• Organized, self-driven, and capable of managing priorities across a broad geographic area.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory (approximately 60–80%).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Physically capable of lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Experience in the medical device or healthcare sector is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ERP or field service software is beneficial (preferably NetSuite).
