Field Service Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Execute the installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair of a diverse array of electro-mechanical medical equipment.

• Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, determining root causes and implementing corrective measures.

• Oversee service territory by efficiently scheduling service calls, preventive maintenance, and travel.

• Keep precise records of service activities, maintenance histories, and inventory transactions.

• Plan and procure necessary parts for servicing and maintenance, ensuring proper inventory management.

• Offer training and support to customer staff on equipment operation, maintenance practices, and inspection methods.

• Maintain clear communication with customers about service updates, arrival schedules, and issue resolution.

• Represent the company professionally through a positive demeanor, appearance, and interaction with customers and colleagues.

• Guide and assist fellow service technicians; engage in departmental meetings, training sessions, and knowledge sharing.

• Take part in installation projects, field actions, and designated initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in biomedical engineering, encompassing the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical devices.

• Proven ability to work independently while effectively managing the assigned territory.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining a high standard of professional and courteous behavior with colleagues, as well as internal and external customers.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint).

• Ability to function in healthcare settings while following PPE protocols.

• Willingness to travel 50-75%, including overnight stays; readiness to drive long distances or fly as necessary.

• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
