Field Service Sales Representative – East Coast

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with regional DSO sales staff to cultivate strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers.

• This will involve regular visits to key clients within your designated region.

• Inform customers about the advantages of Friction Management, utilizing FM field service expertise.

• Conduct audits of the customer’s current trackside or onboard FM programs upon request.

• Partner with the team to develop and review customer-focused FM proposals.

• Work closely with the outside sales and commercial manager to take a proactive role in managing customer relationships related to friction management products and services.

• This entails continuous follow-up with customers to ensure they are acquiring necessary parts, consumables, and services.

• Build and retain an in-depth understanding of LBF products and services.

• Stay informed about pricing and features of competing products.

• Support the commercial manager and outside sales in crafting and implementing annual sales strategies for your designated region (DSO).

• Identify and engage new customers, effectively communicating LB Foster’s FM product and service offerings to generate new business opportunities.

• Arrange site visits for FM evaluations.

• Participate in various industry trade shows and conferences to represent LB Foster with the aim of generating new leads and opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of four years of experience in friction management field service with a solid foundation in FM products and field service knowledge.

• A valid DOT driver’s medical examination card or the capacity to obtain this medical card.

• Current E-Railsafe, TWIC, and Roadway Worker Protection (RPT) certification for relevant client railways, along with any additional customer-specific training required for accessing work sites.
