This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Install, repair, and carry out preventative maintenance on Visionix, Briot-Weco, and Optovue products.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting and advanced technical support.
• Keep precise records of service documentation, parts inventory, and RMA processes.
• Effectively communicate with customers, internal teams, and management.
• Maintain company-issued tools, diagnostic equipment, and service vehicles.
• Recognize workflow enhancements or potential sales opportunities.
• Guide and assist new FSRs during their onboarding process.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
• An associate degree in a technical field, military technical training, or equivalent experience.
• Over 2 years of experience in field service or technical support (6+ years preferred).
• Proficient mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Capability to interpret and comprehend mechanical and electrical diagrams.
• Basic IT knowledge (Windows/Uploading & Downloading software).
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and travel extensively (by car and air).
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
• Willingness to travel across the U.S. for training and regional support.
• Experience with optics or ophthalmic equipment is advantageous — training will be provided.
