This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment at customer sites utilizing tools, parts, and technical diagrams.

• Conduct on-site preventive maintenance and inspection service tasks.

• Deliver call-out services and execute commissioning activities for turbomachinery and package systems.

• Employ test equipment, schematics, and manufacturers' specifications to identify malfunctions.

• Analyze, repair, or replace defective parts under supervision using hand tools, gauges, and instruments.

• Leverage digital tools and systems effectively.

• Inspect for common issues, including dirty or faulty components.

• Clean and lubricate equipment under supervision.

• Execute routine installations and adjust equipment following standard procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Understanding of customer service concepts and techniques.

• Capability to meet or surpass customer needs and expectations.

• Proactive initiative and determination to achieve goals.

• Familiarity with problem-solving methods, tools, and techniques.

• Knowledge of machinery utilized in power plants.

• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repairs or replacements on mechanical parts in power plants.

• Understanding of mechanical equipment and preventive maintenance practices in the oil and gas sector.

• Skill in repairing or replacing defective mechanical components used in hydrocarbon exploration, production, or refining.

• Knowledge of oil-and-gas safety protocols, regulations, and hazard response practices.

• Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).

• Ability to design, implement, and operate automated process controls.

• Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques applicable in a manufacturing setting.

• Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screening and physical fitness evaluation.

• Clean driving record: no moving violations in the last 12 months, no “2 point” violations in the last 3 years, and no DUIs in the past 7 years.

• Must be able to obtain a legal Transportation Worker Identification Credential.

• Visa sponsorship is not available.

• Any job offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a drug screening.
