Field Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment at client sites using tools, parts, and technical schematics.

• Conduct on-site preventive maintenance and inspection service tasks.

• Offer call-out services and commissioning activities for turbomachinery and package systems.

• Utilize test equipment, schematics, and manufacturer specifications to identify malfunctions.

• Analyze, repair, or substitute defective parts using hand tools, gauges, and instruments under supervision.

• Employ digital tools and systems effectively.

• Inspect for common issues and perform cleaning and lubrication of equipment under supervision.

• Carry out routine installations and make equipment adjustments following standard procedures.

• Provide support to the local customer base in West Virginia or Kentucky.


⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with customer service concepts and techniques.

• Capability to meet or exceed customer expectations.

• Initiative and the ability to proactively take on responsibilities and challenges.

• Proficient in problem-solving methods, tools, and techniques.

• Understanding of machinery used in power plants.

• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repair or replace defective mechanical components in power plants.

• Knowledge of mechanical equipment and preventive maintenance practices in oil and gas sectors.

• Competence in repairing or replacing faulty mechanical components utilized in hydrocarbon exploration, production, or refining.

• Familiarity with oil and gas safety protocols, practices, and regulatory standards.

• Ability to recognize and respond to work-related hazards.

• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).

• Ability to design, implement, and manage automated process controls.

• Proficient in troubleshooting methods, tools, and techniques in a manufacturing setting.

• Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screening and physical fitness assessment.

• Clean driving record: no moving violations within the past 12 months, no “2 point” violations in the last 3 years, and no DUIs in the last 7 years.

• Must be eligible to obtain a legal Transportation Worker Identification Credential.

• Visa sponsorship is not available.
