Field Service Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Installing, qualifying, maintaining, and servicing Repligen products across both product lines.

• Conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).

• Delivering training to customers on system operation, software, and accessories.

• Providing remote and on-site technical support to both customers and internal teams.

• Documenting service activities, resolutions, and technical updates in CRM and service platforms.

• Collaborating with global Field Service Engineer (FSE) teams and the Field Service Manager to share knowledge and coordinate service efforts.

• Ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory standards during service activities.

• Reviewing and contributing to service documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanics, Engineering, Laboratory Science, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in field service for scientific instruments or bioprocess equipment.

• Previous experience working in Cleanrooms is preferred.

• Strong analytical, mechanical, and electronic skills.

• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) is preferred.

• Ability to draft and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.

• Willingness to travel throughout Europe.
