This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist customers with troubleshooting, installation, preventive maintenance, and repair services.
• Offer installation assistance, maintenance, modifications, and/or repairs on 1-2 groups of mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, and/or refrigeration instruments.
• Timely document and finalize service administration tasks to comply with ISO, FDA, and Leica guidelines.
• Proactively support the sale of service contracts, aid sales representatives and service team members with system configurations/upgrades, and provide insights on improving financial performance to enhance service revenue.
• An Associate's degree along with 3+ years of experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation, or equivalent military experience.
• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Capability to frequently lift, move, slide, raise, and/or position up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk for extended periods, sit, squat, kneel, ascend and descend stairs, and reach with hands and arms.
• Previous experience in diagnosing and repairing medical devices, electromechanical equipment, or scientific instruments is advantageous.
• Experience with networking/IT system upgrades is a plus.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
