Field Service Engineer – Drives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Carry out services and maintenance tasks at customers' sites or properties.

• Contribute to the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of both sold and existing products.

• Oversee maintenance facilities and field services engineering operations.

• Accountable for the planning and execution of all onsite life extensions, repairs, and inspection-related service activities that can be conducted at customer locations.

• Involves onsite machining, NDT, blading, winding, critical welding, and generator diagnostics.

• Acquire comprehensive knowledge in a specific technical discipline.

• Leverage previous experience and technical expertise to implement policy and strategy.

• Suggest solutions beyond established parameters with appropriate guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Services & On-Site Services.

• Education level equivalent to a Bachelor's degree or a high school diploma coupled with relevant experience.

• For positions in the USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proven capability to analyze and resolve issues.

• Proficient in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.

• Well-developed project management skills.
