Field Service Engineer – Commissioning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.

📋 Description

• Perform on-site commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks on legacy commissioned fired equipment.

• Execute on-site commissioning for both legacy and retrofit equipment, along with general maintenance, fault analysis, troubleshooting, and installation oversight.

• Develop Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS), site visit reports, and manage timesheets for client submissions.

• Initiate and maintain Zeeco's combustion products and systems, such as flare systems, flare gas recovery, boiler burners, process burners, thermal oxidizers, vapor recovery systems, and related pollution and optical control equipment.

• Recognize potential opportunities for additional aftermarket spares and site service support.

• Oversee on-site turnaround/outage contracts and provide training to end-user personnel.

• Comply with Company and customer Health and Safety Policies, fostering a safe working environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Multi-Skilled Technician/Engineer: Solid technical background with expertise in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and PLC control systems.

• Experience with PLC programming, specifically with Siemens and Allen Bradley.

• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and task execution.

• Willingness to travel extensively, potentially exceeding 200 days per year.

• Safety-conscious, comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in offshore environments, with a strong commitment to safety standards.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting P&IDs, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with proficient computer abilities.

• Prior experience in combustion within the oil, gas, or petrochemical industries is a plus.

• Must hold a valid driving license.
