Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA reverse vending machines (RVMs) at customer locations.

• Diagnose and address mechanical and electrical problems, utilizing assistance from experienced colleagues when necessary.

• Perform both preventative maintenance and reactive repairs to maximize equipment uptime.

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines after receiving training.

• Foster positive relationships with customers, serving as a trusted and approachable representative of TOMRA.

• Collaborate closely with retailers and site contacts to guarantee a smooth and professional service experience.

• Travel regularly within your region, with occasional overnight stays and visits to service hubs.

• Accurately document work, service updates, and machine status using digital tools and systems (IFS).

• Maintain organization of your van stock and equipment, ensuring readiness for use.

• Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance our products and processes.

• Stay informed about TOMRA’s technology and continuously improve your skill set.

• A strong foundation in electro-mechanical systems, with a keen interest in learning to analyze, test, and repair complex equipment.

• A curious and solution-oriented mindset, exhibiting strong attention to detail.

• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a larger, supportive team.

• Flexibility to travel and manage your schedule in a field-based role.

• Full UK driving licence.
