Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Travel on a weekly basis to customer locations within the designated territory.

• Carry out factory-level installations, repairs, retrofits, upgrades, calibrations, and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Offer professional customer support through onsite visits, phone calls, emails, and written communications.

• Advocate for preventive maintenance contracts, calibration services, spare parts, consumables, and equipment sales.

• Keep precise and timely service documentation, customer records, and visit reports.

• Oversee and maintain an adequate spare parts inventory within the service vehicle.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree (AE) or equivalent certification in electronic technology from an accredited technical institution, or comparable military experience.

• 2–3 years of experience in the field supporting electromechanical equipment.

• Strong electronic troubleshooting abilities with a solid understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics.

• Capability to read and interpret electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams.

• Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.

• Proficient in MS Windows, Outlook, and Microsoft Office applications.

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.

• Ability to work efficiently from a home office.
