Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Provide high-level technical assistance for Flow International Corporation’s water-cutting and surface preparation systems.

• Deliver both on-site and remote technical support for the operation, diagnosis, and repair of Flow systems.

• Help customers troubleshoot issues, identify parts, and resolve technical problems via phone, email, or site visits.

• Ensure timely completion of all necessary administrative documentation and service reports.

• Comply with Flow’s Return Material Authorization (RMA) policy and meticulously document all customer-reported system issues.

• Assist in documentation efforts, including keeping product manuals, specifications, and technical references up to date.

• Act as a professional liaison between Flow and its customers/distributors, fostering a positive and productive relationship.

• Travel to customer locations, occasionally on short notice and outside regular business hours, to deliver exceptional service and technical guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field; or a suitable combination of education and experience.

• At least 2 years of field service experience with robotics, motion control systems, CNC machinery, or comparable capital equipment.

• Strong preference for experience with microprocessor control systems.

• CNC programming experience is advantageous.

• Proficient in business software applications, including MS Office, Outlook, Teams, Concur, and Kronos.

• Previous experience in providing technical support via phone is preferred.
