This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Deliver on-site technical services that surpass customer expectations in terms of responsiveness, ensuring a level of quality and value that fosters customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
• Travel to customer sites on a daily basis.
• Conduct product testing, investigations, and repairs of devices at customer locations.
• Perform installation of electromechanical devices for field-serviceable equipment.
• Provide support for MedNet.
• Configure MedNet devices as required.
• Install MedNet drug libraries when necessary.
• Offer Technical In-Service training to customers.
• Register Oracle Service Requests using a laptop.
• Execute hardware and software device updates through technical field projects.
• Supply billable (non-warranty) field repair services.
• Manage the inventory of field spare parts.
• Ensure proper documentation of all travel expenses.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent; an Associate degree in a technical field or relevant experience is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical role; a background in healthcare is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, processes, and products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Opportunity to utilize commercial air travel when necessary.
• Must be able to travel on short notice.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license is required.
• Must have a reliable vehicle with enough space to transport repair tools and equipment to customer locations.
• Eligibility for a corporate credit card is necessary.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Willingness to work in a hospital setting, typically within a Biomed work area.
• Must possess a high level of hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle electro-mechanical medical devices.
