This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Promote, sell, demonstrate, teach, and service/repair the stud welding process, including Nelson studs, accessories, and welding equipment.
• Maintain the existing customer base while expanding it to achieve new growth levels.
• Manage customer relationships and prospects in the Construction, Industrial, and Specialty (shipbuilding) sectors.
• Allocate time in the field for demonstrations, training, and support, as well as in the office for quotations and follow-ups with prospects.
• Act as a technical consultant for equipment sales, setup, field training, process enhancement, and equipment repair and maintenance.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of the products, services, and equipment to effectively provide technical information and respond to inquiries from customers and engineers.
• Identify and establish new accounts by recognizing potential customers and organizing sales calls.
• Attract new clients by demonstrating the cost-effectiveness of the stud welding process.
• Process orders, monitor order status, and manage inventory with the assistance of an experienced Inside Sales/Customer Service team.
• Regular travel across the Florida territory is necessary.
• 3-5 years of experience in inside or outside sales or in construction management, project management for steel erection/fabrication, engineering, welding, shipbuilding, or industrial manufacturing.
• Basic troubleshooting capabilities and a general understanding of hand tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, as the role involves mechanical and electrical repairs at customer sites with support from a regional technician.
• Experience in the construction sector, particularly in steel erection, steel fabrication, and/or precast concrete, or working with shipyards is a significant advantage.
