Field Representative, Insurance Inspections

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Perform on-site evaluations of commercial properties to determine risk exposure

• Assess construction quality, operational procedures, fire protection systems, and safety protocols

• Record observations and produce concise, actionable reports that aid underwriting decisions

• Offer suggestions for enhancing safety and preventing losses

• Organize your own schedule—plan, route, and efficiently execute site visits

• Represent Verisk in a professional manner during in-person interactions, phone calls, and written correspondence

• Maintain accuracy and quality in all data gathering and reporting processes

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferably in risk management, insurance, construction, safety, or similar fields)

• Excellent communication and report-writing capabilities

• Proficient with technology, mobile tools, and MS Office applications

• Keen attention to detail with the ability to observe, measure, and document accurately

• Self-motivated individual with the capability to work independently and manage time efficiently

• Basic mathematical skills (e.g., calculating square footage, percentages)

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally for overnight trips (as necessary)

• Comfortable navigating various environments (walking, climbing, outdoor conditions, etc.)

• Access to reliable high-speed internet and a distraction-free remote workspace

• Reside within the designated territory
