Field Reimbursement Manager, Psychiatry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Serve as an alternative in-office resource to respond to HCP inquiries regarding patient access.

• Directly visit HCP offices within the assigned region to provide answers about patient access and reimbursement.

• Inform HCPs about patient support initiatives, including tools for access and reimbursement assistance.

• Guide HCPs on the status of patient prescriptions and eligibility for programs.

• Educate HCP offices concerning payer processes and protocols.

• Collaborate with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement support center.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.

• At least 3 years of experience in a specific therapeutic area, including Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement.

• Significant experience in educating others about payer processes and access issues related to specialty medicines.

• Strong comprehension and capability to convey technical aspects of coding and billing requirements.

• In-depth understanding of Parts A, B, C, and D of Medicare and the associated reimbursement dynamics.

• Solid knowledge of drug acquisition and dispensing within the specific therapeutic area.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving criteria.

• Must fulfill all relevant health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements.
