Field Property Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Play a vital role in assisting customers in recovering from property losses by providing outstanding claim service from the initial notice of loss to resolution.

• Travel across Burlington, Middlesex, Mercer, and Monmouth Counties to assess property damages.

• Examine coverage, draft estimates, negotiate settlements, and support customers throughout the claims process.

• Utilize tools such as Xactimate to assess damages related to weather, water, wind, and other property losses while ensuring a smooth customer experience.

• Operate independently while maintaining close collaboration with your leadership team, colleagues, contractors, vendors, and clients.

• Control your own schedule and daily routing while upholding customer commitments and business expectations.

• Possesses a comprehensive understanding of all policy types offered by the company.

• Demonstrates strong estimating skills to create or audit damage estimates for complex first-party homeowners' losses.

• Develops strong relationships with both internal and external clients across various lines.

• Assesses settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; determines the best options available.

• Engages in negotiations for settlements, processes settlement payments, and documents all activities in the most complex files across multiple lines.
