This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
β’ Execute the external engagement strategy that is aligned with the therapeutic portfolio.
β’ Implement the external engagement plan in accordance with therapy area strategies.
β’ Identify External Experts, professional groups, decision-makers, and other key stakeholders.
β’ Responsively address unsolicited information requests related to GSK medicines and indications in a compliant manner.
β’ Distribute critical safety information to healthcare professionals.
β’ Engage in scientific exchanges to inform and educate healthcare professionals on the appropriate use of medicines.
β’ Present scientific data and pipeline information to formulary committees and healthcare professionals.
β’ Maintain proficiency in the evolving landscape of scientific and therapeutic areas, as well as competitor medicines and vaccines.
β’ Participate in and contribute to regional account planning and training sessions.
β’ Attend national and regional scientific and medical conferences.
β’ Provide support for clinical development activities, GSK studies, and investigator-sponsored studies.
β’ Collaborate with R&D teams to enhance site performance.
β’ Offer insights into GSK research interests and address field inquiries.
β’ Conduct discussions and meetings with steering committee members, advisory board members, and consultants.
β’ Deliver scientific training for GSK sales representatives.
β’ Train healthcare professionals to represent GSK and assist with speaker training events.
β’ Collaborate with sales, marketing, market access, and other cross-functional colleagues on patient- and business-focused strategies.
β’ Pharm. D, Ph. D, DNP, or MD with a focus on medical or clinical practice.
β’ A minimum of two years' experience in pharmacology and pharmacotherapy in humans.
β’ Practical experience applying pharmacology and pharmacotherapy knowledge within a clinical environment.
β’ Must reside within the designated territory: ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT.
β’ Completion of a residency or post-doctoral training in a clinical/pharmaceutical practice setting is preferred.
β’ Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or as a medical liaison is preferred.
β’ Specific therapeutic area experience is advantageous.
β’ Prior clinical experience showing direct or indirect decision-making authority for patient care is preferred.
β’ Above-average computer literacy, including familiarity with software applications, is preferred.
