This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Serves as a Field Marketing professional, engaging with agencies within the designated territory.
• Responsible for nurturing and overseeing agency relationships in the assigned area.
• Tracks new binding activities and renewal retention for a specific group of agents.
• Provides marketing insights to agents about product opportunities, guidance on conducting business with the Company, and answers basic questions on how to place various Property & Casualty insurance products.
• Assists in establishing agency-level objectives.
• Maintains a thorough understanding of product knowledge.
• Regularly visits assigned agency partners or conducts virtual meetings via phone or internet, dedicating at least 50% of the time to travel.
• Engages in consultative marketing strategies and offers detailed production data to educate and guide agents on product opportunities.
• Sets appropriate goals for agencies.
• Acts as the primary communication source for agents within the assigned territory.
• Addresses inquiries and employs problem-solving skills to resolve issues for agents and customers, referring more complex questions to senior marketing representatives or management as necessary.
• Schedules agency visits in advance using calendar and CRM software.
• Prepares for agency visits by generating reports and conducting thorough analyses on production relative to expectations and goals.
• Reviews and compiles production data and relevant marketing materials for distribution to agents.
• Maintains a sufficient level of product knowledge to train agents on our offerings and encourage their submissions and binding.
• Participates in conventions or other industry events to maintain visibility among current and potential agents.
• Attends and presents at group agency meetings in various locations throughout the year to introduce new products and enhancements.
• Continuously seeks to improve consultative marketing practices and participates in training to enhance marketing strategy and communication skills.
• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is required.
• A minimum of seven years of related work experience.
• Advanced skills in Marketing and Sales.
• Familiarity with insurance terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of company guidelines regarding the acceptability and profitability of applications, accounts, and policies.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Outstanding customer service abilities.
• Proficient in using calculators for various calculations.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Ability to organize time and resources effectively, managing multiple high-priority tasks.
• Competence in researching and evaluating alternatives, making informed decisions, and providing recommendations.
• Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Capability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
