This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +22 more states.
• Manage and coordinate the calendar for third-party conferences and tradeshows, hosted Blackthorn events, executive dinners, partner activations, and internal gatherings, all aimed at driving leads and generating pipeline.
• Assist in selecting the appropriate events that align with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and objectives, collaborating with event partners to secure sponsorships that enhance our visibility and involvement.
• Establish and maintain how Blackthorn presents itself at each event, ensuring brand representation, booth experience, and materials for attendees are uniform and on-brand.
• Keep a centralized source of information regarding upcoming events, their status, and outcomes across the team.
• Oversee all logistics for live events (both hosted and sponsored) including venue selection, vendor management, booth design, signage, promotional items, audiovisual needs, catering, run-of-show, staffing, and travel arrangements.
• Create comprehensive plans for pre-event, during-event, and post-event phases that optimize attendee engagement and follow-up to foster new business, expansion, upsells, and renewals.
• Brief and prepare Blackthorn staff participants for each event.
• Collaborate with the Demand Generation team to strategize on promotion, registration, and follow-up actions for each event.
• Work with the Content team on event messaging, speaker preparation, and supporting materials.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, and Alliances regarding event choices, attendee strategies, and post-event follow-up.
• Regularly update the marketing team and broader business stakeholders on event status, plans, and results.
• Assist with the production of webinars and virtual events.
• Collaborate with Content and Demand on topic selection, speaker recruitment, promotion, run-of-show, and follow-up activities.
• Serve as the stage manager/producer for each event to ensure seamless production for both speakers and attendees.
• Manage event-related data in Salesforce, including campaigns, lists, and attribution.
• Monitor and report on event performance metrics such as registrations, attendance, leads, MQLs, opportunities, and pipeline.
• Provide post-event analysis and recommendations to guide future investments.
• Oversee the field marketing budget and monitor expenditures against the plan for various event types.
• Recommend event mix and investment strategies based on return on investment (ROI).
• 2–4 years of experience in B2B field marketing, event marketing, or integrated marketing, preferably within the SaaS or technology sectors.
• Proven track record of planning and executing live and virtual events, as well as webinars from start to finish.
• Experience collaborating with demand generation, content, and sales teams on integrated event campaigns.
• Strategic mindset: You consider not just logistics but how events can enhance brand presence, pipeline, and customer outcomes.
• Strong project management abilities with the capacity to oversee multiple events simultaneously.
• Experience managing an event budget.
• Proficient in Salesforce, including knowledge of campaigns, lists, and basic reporting functionalities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, globally distributed, remote-first environment.
• Must be based in the U.S. and eligible to work there.
