This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• You will take ownership of and implement field marketing initiatives that enhance awareness, engagement, and pipeline within our target accounts and markets.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales team to pinpoint opportunities, develop account-specific campaigns, and design programs that facilitate the progression of prospects through the sales funnel.
• Organize and carry out a diverse range of events—including conferences, trade shows, executive dinners, customer gatherings, webinars, and community events—from strategy formulation to post-event follow-up.
• Create engaging event experiences and campaigns that resonate with engineering leaders, platform teams, and technical decision-makers.
• Work collaboratively across departments including Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership to ensure cohesive messaging and impeccable execution.
• Assess and report on program effectiveness, pipeline contributions, and ROI, providing insights and recommendations to the wider team.
• Cultivate relationships with customers, partners, and industry communities to enhance Span's market presence.
• Explore innovative event formats, channels, and technologies to efficiently scale our field marketing initiatives.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, demand generation, or a similar B2B marketing position.
• Proven experience in executing events and marketing programs that deliver quantifiable pipeline and revenue results.
• Exceptional project management abilities—you can manage multiple programs, stakeholders, and deadlines without losing focus.
• Experience collaborating closely with Sales teams to align marketing initiatives with territory and account objectives.
• Outstanding communication skills with the capability to engage both technical and business audiences effectively.
