This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Independently or collaboratively install displays, mounting hardware, A/V equipment, and interconnectivity devices at client locations.
• Maintain and service products that have been installed at customer sites.
• Oversee installation, setup, and dismantling of products for demonstrations and trade exhibitions.
• Report and escalate product-related issues and their resolutions to the relevant personnel.
• Collaborate with Technical Support and Engineering teams to address issues when standard troubleshooting and hardware replacement do not resolve the problem.
• Provide on-site training and certification to integrators when conditions are suitable.
• Document and keep accurate records of completed projects.
• Offer backup assistance to the Tech Support/Helpdesk in responding to customers' technical inquiries via phone and email.
• Relay end-user feedback and issues to the appropriate parties and proactively suggest solutions or necessary actions.
• Exhibit acceptable standards of office conduct.
• Demonstrate punctual and regular attendance at work.
• Effectively manage stress.
• Adapt and learn in a fast-paced work environment.
• **What You'll Need: **
• Excellent interpersonal, telephone, customer service, time management, and decision-making skills are essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to relay appropriate information to customers and team members professionally.
• Capability to communicate effectively in writing, providing documentation on completed installations.
• Understanding of the order process, escalation procedures, and the ability to give feedback to the Project Manager.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor across various work settings.
• Competence to work independently while remaining efficient and productive, delivering work of exceptional quality.
• Comfortable using standard hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of electronics and connectivity concepts.
• General understanding of HVAC and power requirements.
• Familiarity with different A/V cables, including but not limited to HDMI and CAT 6.
• Comprehension of wiring schematics, measurements, and system drawings.
• Must be capable of reading Visio and/or CAD drawings.
• Ability to create Visio or CAD line drawings is preferred.
• Knowledge of 3rd party control systems (Creston, AMX, etc.) is preferred.
• Experience in system integration is preferred.
• Government clearance is preferred.
• Comfortable working on a ladder for extended durations.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of the order process, escalation procedures, and providing project feedback to the Product Management team.
• Mental aptitude for ongoing interpersonal interactions, problem analysis, and resolution is essential.
• Ability to actively engage in team development and team-oriented processes.
• Physical capability to utilize computer hardware/software is required.
• Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screening at any time based on client onsite requirements.
