This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Field Technology Execution Specialist (FTS) will collaborate with the Director of Field Technology (DFT) to strategize and implement new technology solutions aimed at profitably expanding RMS’ business.
• The FTS is primarily responsible for the planning and execution of activities where technology is utilized.
• The role requires the FTS to create highly detailed plans for all scheduled downtimes.
• These duties encompass traditional field service execution, extending beyond mere technology deployment.
• The FTS will also help oversee technology implementation across specific projects.
• Interacting with customers from a 'boots on the ground' perspective is a key responsibility of the FTS.
• Turnaround and Project Planning – The FTS will lead all planning initiatives related to the application of technology and the execution of field service activities.
• Technology Execution Oversight – To guarantee successful implementation of technology offerings, the FTS will assist in supervising the work performed for the customer.
• A minimum of fifteen (15) years of hands-on maintenance, turnaround, and project experience in the oil and gas sector.
• Proven leadership skills and experience collaborating with field technicians.
• Extensive practical knowledge of equipment.
• Strong professional communication and interaction abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Capacity to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proficiency in interpreting and understanding specifications, work instructions, and engineering drawings (blueprints).
• Ability to learn and comprehend various measuring instruments, including portable 3D metrology equipment and associated software.
• Strong awareness of safety and quality standards.
• Authorization to work in the United States and possession of a valid driver's license.
• Participation in the company's random or customer-specific drug and alcohol screening and background check.
• Holding a valid Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) or the ability to obtain and retain a TWIC as a condition of employment.
• Capability and willingness to lift objects weighing up to 30 lbs. (50 lbs. with assistance).
• Work Environment: The employee may work or enter a shop or field service setting with exposure to moving mechanical parts while performing the duties of this position.
• Although the work environment is generally clean, safe, and 'not loud', there may be machining operations that produce moderate noise and metal particles. Employees will adhere to RMS safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE in these areas.
