Field Engineer – Nationwide, Travel Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of Survey related to our marine construction initiatives.

• Provide technical and operational support to the Operations Team.

• Gather, process, and report all survey data to both the operations and administration teams.

• Create and assess project survey specifications from initiation to final approval.

• Support the Project Manager in establishing, maintaining, and executing all necessary administrative tasks for dredging project job sites.

• Lead the survey team and manage survey equipment (Boat, Trailer, Sonar, etc.).

• Collaborate with project management to develop the project plan.

• Capture and leverage survey data to inform and plan the daily dredge schedule.

• Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding all survey-related issues.

• Collect and analyze data to support the current project and provide the bidding team with production information for the bidding process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Survey, preferably hydrographic.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on MS Excel.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Hypack, and/or other survey software.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.

• U.S. Passport or the ability to obtain one.

• Valid TWIC or the capacity to acquire one.

• Knowledge of RMS 3.0 is a plus.

• Understanding of MS Project or Primavera P6 is desirable.

• OSHA 30-Hour certification is a plus.

• Ability to operate small marine vessels is preferred.

• Must possess the ability to read, speak, write, type, and comprehend English in person and over the phone.
