This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Act as the main contact for all Engineering-related communications with designated customers.
• Suggest and authorize software installations and upgrades at client locations.
• Exhibit extensive industry knowledge while raising awareness of current trends and innovations.
• Utilize intermediate troubleshooting skills to effectively and efficiently resolve complex technical issues.
• Create and execute project plans, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
• Oversee the configuration, setup, and execution of gaming systems projects.
• Offer thorough post-implementation support to guarantee customer satisfaction and system reliability.
• Produce detailed after-action reports for installations to document lessons learned.
• Conduct audits of current installations to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
• Track system modifications, upgrades, and relay pertinent updates to internal teams.
• Maintain regular communication with compliance managers and tribal gaming regulators.
• Manage and uphold Aristocrat gaming systems at tribal test labs and backend vendor test labs as assigned.
• Travel up to 75% as necessary to support client sites and project requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Over 4 years of relevant professional experience, or a suitable combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a technical role.
• Strong grasp of Windows client-server architecture and networking principles.
• Proficient in managing Windows servers, including virtualization, troubleshooting, and setup.
• Skilled in Linux server management, including Kubernetes and containerization.
• Understanding of relational database server administration and database management practices.
• Expertise in enterprise networking, including the configuration and management of networks, VLANs, and associated devices.
• Familiarity with cluster servers and SAN environments is a plus.
• Technical certifications such as A+, N+, Microsoft, or Cisco are highly preferred.
• Experience in casino environments is an advantage.
