Field CTO – Senior Director of Networking Thought Leadership

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction across the HPE networking portfolio

• Collaborate with sales, product management, engineering, and external partners

• Create and curate technical positions that are specific to the industry

• Lead extensive, sponsored engagements

• Present keynote speeches and industry-related presentations on a global scale

• Keep up-to-date with current and emerging networking technologies

• Work alongside internal teams to influence product innovation

• Serve as a mentor and role model for leadership within the technical community

• Provide strategic advice to executive leadership on technology initiatives

• Gather insights from the industry and feedback from customers to guide product and strategy development

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in networking technology, product development, or related fields

• In-depth knowledge of networking standards, emerging technologies, and industry sectors such as enterprise, telecom, and data centers

• Outstanding communication skills with the capability to explain complex technical ideas to varied audiences, including executives

• Proven experience in delivering public speaking engagements

• Established leadership in defining technology strategy, influencing product design, and mentoring teams

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
