Field Calibration Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Execute calibrations in accordance with company protocols and relevant standards

• Assist in various calibration disciplines and engage in cross-training initiatives

• Record calibration outcomes with a focus on compliance and traceability

• Manage calibration standards and communicate any equipment-related issues

• Travel to client locations for both local and overnight assignments

• Establish and assist mobile calibration workstations and onsite laboratories

• Maintain communication with clients regarding service updates, technical requirements, and scheduling

• Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to ensure timely project completion

• Provide feedback to enhance service delivery and improve customer satisfaction

• Adhere to safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and calibration standards

• Take part in audits, compliance evaluations, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Keep professional and audit-ready workspaces

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of calibration experience in laboratory or field settings

• Preferred experience with RF/GP calibration

• Willingness to undertake local and overnight travel for assignments

• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and related calibration standards

• Strong attention to detail and capability to adhere to technical procedures

• Must possess an active and valid driver's license

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics is preferred

• Experience with FSM, CalWeb, or Gage tools is preferred

• Ability to operate across various calibration disciplines

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities

• Previous experience in customer-facing roles or large-account support is preferred
