Field Applications Scientist, IC, HPLC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical assistance and training for analytical and scientific solutions in Ion Chromatography (IC) and High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).

• Partner with sales teams and clients to provide application support and training.

• Act as a scientific consultant to aid customers in optimizing workflows and enhancing the value of their investments.

• Offer pre- and post-sales technical knowledge across IC and HPLC technology platforms.

• Execute product demonstrations.

• Create new applications.

• Diagnose complex technical challenges.

• Establish and nurture customer relationships.

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, R&D, and product management teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Propel business growth through technical expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in related analytical instrumentation and applications.

• Preferred area of study: Analytical Chemistry.

• Desired experience with HPLC and IC.

• Proven expertise in technical problem-solving and method development.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex ideas to varied audiences.

• Strong presentation and training skills for both technical and non-technical groups.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a results-driven environment.

• Experience in project management with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Willingness to travel up to 50-75%.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and relevant scientific software.

• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to build and sustain effective relationships with internal teams and external clients.

• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.

• A valid driver's license and passport are necessary for travel.
