This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Meet or surpass revenue targets by crafting and executing a strategic territory business plan.
• Identify, advance, and secure new high-value opportunities within select customer segments or for specific product portfolio groups.
• Deliver precise business forecasts for the various product groups and the overall portfolio.
• Foster strong collaborative relationships with the inside sales team and cross-functional teams (such as marketing, technical service, supply chain, and customer service).
• Educate, empower, and support the wider LGC sales team to enhance revenue and elevate the market presence of the ATCC portfolio.
• Work in partnership with the ATCC commercial team to boost revenue potential and enhance customer experience.
• Develop thorough technical and commercial knowledge of the ATCC portfolio, while also understanding the strengths and characteristics of competitors' products.
• Organize and present technical seminars, participate in local trade shows and conferences, and uncover additional promotional opportunities within the designated territory.
• Perform market sensing activities.
• Acquire knowledge of current and future factors that may influence revenues, such as funding, market dynamics, and end-user requirements.
• Maintain records in the LGC CRM system.
• Continuously enhance the quality and thoroughness of the regional prospect list.
• Ensure that all opportunities are up-to-date and complete at all times.
• Attend all mandatory sales meetings, training sessions, and courses as directed by LGC.
• Proactively pursue the expansion of your knowledge and skills.
• A Master’s degree or equivalent experience, ideally a PhD or equivalent, in Cell Biology, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field and/or relevant industry experience.
• Proficient in English.
• At least two years of professional sales experience.
• Familiarity with and practical experience in cell culture techniques.
• Experience working within a large matrix organization.
• Must be adaptable and willing to travel frequently for work.
• General computer skills and experience using a commercial CRM system.
• Valid driving license.
