This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.
• Design, debug, and deploy testing solutions for Digital, Mixed-Signal, and RF electronics.
• Development of test program software, typically within a collaborative setting.
• Collaborate on Test Adapter schematic design and layout evaluation for effective testing solutions.
• Assess issues and propose solutions on the Teradyne ATE platform to enhance customer throughput.
• Engage with test engineering clients to comprehend and refine testing processes, while also providing recommendations to boost the quality of test coverage.
• Identify customer requirements with an emphasis on: a) Conceptual design of hardware, software, and test cell integration. b) Electrical and mechanical hardware schematics. c) Inputs and requirements for PCB & hardware interface design.
• Showcase tester capabilities for customer assessments.
• Support clients in understanding tester operation and its capabilities.
• Facilitate training sessions, technical exchanges, and provide technical documentation.
• Cultivate strong technical relationships with customers to better understand their direction and needs.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in electronic/computer engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in test engineering or related roles.
• Preferred experience in test/product engineering involving analog, digital, mixed signal, and RF testing and development.
• Previous programming experience on Teradyne or ATE platforms is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio, C, C++, C# programming, and familiarity with Windows.
• Strong teamwork abilities as well as the capability to work independently.
• Excellent analytical and practical problem-solving skills.
• Proficient presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to teamwork and a proactive approach.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and the native language.
• Proven technical expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
• Willingness to travel (>50%).
• Eligibility to obtain a US Secret Clearance.
