This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• The Analyst will generate claims loss analysis reports on a weekly, monthly, or as required by management basis.
• Conduct loss analysis reviews to protect the servicer’s assets and ensure adherence to insurer requirements.
• Review and contest insurer curtailments for all government-insured filed claims, which may include conveyance, claims for advances, loss mitigation, and non-conveyance claims.
• Perform Quality Control reviews for Default Claims, including supplemental claims to minimize loss exposure and prepare loss analysis reports.
• Assist in gathering claims data for government claims audits, as well as reviewing auditor findings and providing rebuttal responses.
• Process monthly write-offs of remaining balances once all claims and supplemental funds have been received for an account.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the claims department to ensure compliance with all claims filings.
• Communicate with vendors and site employees.
• Act as a point of contact/liaison to ensure adherence to policies and procedures regarding invoicing and remittance, including compliance with federal laws and regulations.
• Exhibit professional behavior and teamwork, and maintain punctuality, reliability, and compliance with Company policies and procedures.
• Ensure regular and punctual attendance.
• High School diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
• A Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year College or University is preferred.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in the rebuttal of compensatory fees and curtailments, investor claims processing, auditing, and loss analysis reporting; or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Strong familiarity with FHA, VA, and GSE claims guidelines.

• Competent in reading, analyzing, and interpreting documents such as technical journals, financial reports, legal documents, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to compute basic financial figures and amounts.
• Skilled in computer use and knowledgeable about word processing, spreadsheets, accounting, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, e-mail, and internet software.
• Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet critical departmental and federal deadlines with precision and efficiency.
